Built for Local Business
We're a DFW-based consulting firm focused on one thing: helping local businesses grow with marketing that actually works.
Level the playing field for local businesses
Big brands have entire marketing departments. Local businesses have you. Schubert Consulting exists to close that gap — giving DFW businesses access to the same strategic marketing thinking that enterprise companies pay millions for, at a price that makes sense.
We don't believe in vague deliverables or generic strategies. Every client gets a plan built around their specific market, customers, and goals — then we execute it alongside you.
Our principles
These aren't just values on a wall — they shape every client engagement we take on.
Results over activity
We care about leads, customers, and revenue — not vanity metrics. If it doesn't contribute to your bottom line, we don't prioritize it.
Transparency by default
No black-box strategies. You'll always know what we're doing, why, and what results it's driving — in plain English, not marketing jargon.
Local market knowledge
We know the DFW market. That means strategies informed by local competition, buyer behavior, and community context — not generic templates.
Speed without shortcuts
We move fast because we know what works. But we don't cut corners on strategy — every decision is made to build durable, compounding growth.
Eric Skiff
Eric founded Schubert Consulting as a one-person consultancy serving DFW local businesses. He recognized a gap: service businesses have great offerings, but lack the marketing infrastructure and strategic guidance to reach and convert qualified customers through review growth and reputation management.
With a background in growth strategy and digital marketing, Eric works directly with service businesses to build sustainable marketing systems that leverage reviews and local reputation to generate qualified leads, increase customer lifetime value, and create durable competitive advantages in their markets.
Based in Bedford, TX, Eric is deeply familiar with the DFW market landscape and the unique challenges that local business owners face—and the proven strategies to overcome them.
The name, briefly.
Franz Schubert wrote more than 600 songs in a fifteen-year career — mostly performed in living rooms and small gatherings, not grand concert halls. Not flashy. Not famous in his lifetime. Just steady, careful work for regular people.
That’s how a local business builds a real reputation, too. Not one viral moment — a steady stream of small wins, accumulated over time, in your own neighborhood.
Our parent company
Schubert Consulting, LLC is wholly owned by Skiff Holdings, LLC, a Texas limited liability company. As part of its ordinary business, Skiff Holdings evaluates and may acquire small and medium-sized business interests — including, potentially, businesses that engage Schubert as a consulting client. We disclose this proactively because trust matters more than the rare scenario in which it becomes relevant.
No present intent to acquire. At any given time, Skiff Holdings has no specific acquisition plans for any current or prospective Schubert client. This disclosure is structural — it informs you of a possibility, not a plan.
If acquisition discussions ever begin, four protections apply automatically under Section X of every executed Master Services Agreement:
- Written notice first. No discussion may begin until you receive written notice identifying the affiliated party and the inquiry date.
- Independent counsel for you. We strongly recommend, and you are expected to retain, your own legal counsel and CPA. Schubert may provide a one-time goodwill stipend toward your professional fees up to fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000), and may not select or recommend professionals on your behalf.
- Conflict wall. All acquisition-related communications come from Skiff Holdings' designated capital representative; consulting work continues separately under Schubert's consulting representative, or pauses with your written consent.
- Independent valuation. Before any offer, an independent Texas-licensed business appraiser unaffiliated with Schubert, Skiff, or you produces a fair-market-value range, shared with you and your counsel before any offer is formalized.
30-day right of withdrawal. If at signing or within thirty (30) days after, the affiliation makes the consulting engagement unsuitable for you, you may terminate the agreement on that ground alone with a full pro-rata refund of any prepaid fees and no further obligation.
The full disclosure language lives in Section X of every Schubert Master Services Agreement. Email [email protected] if you'd like to see the contract language before engaging.
